Keeper Ross Fitzsimons has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old rejoined the Spireites on a short-term deal in August and he is pleased with his new agreement. He said: “I’m really happy to be staying because I’m loving my time here.
“We’re on a really good run and it’s a great time to be a Spireite. I’m just really happy that I’m a part of it.”
Fitzsimons, who previously spent six months pn loan at Chesterfield from Notts County in 2020, has made 12 appearances so far this season.
