The Spireites have signed Danny Rowe from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee.
Rowe, 32, joined Bradford from Oldham Athletic in January and scored five goals in 18 appearances for the League Two club.
Speaking to Spireites+, he said: “Obviously the aim is to get back into the Football League and the set-up here is brilliant.
“I spoke to the manager and he really wanted me to come. I have come here to play games and enjoy my football. I can’t wait to get going.”
After being at Manchester United as a youngster, Rowe played for Kendal Town and Fleetwood Town before stints at Lincoln City and AFC Fylde, where he spent six years, before joining Oldham last year.
