Head to Head

The two sides have faced each other 23 times, with the Spireites coming away with ten wins and the Bees recording nine victories.

There have been four draws in 23 meetings with the one of them coming in the last meeting between the two teams. A Mike Fondop brace secured Chesterfield a 2-2 draw at The Hive last August.

Form Guide

James Rowe’s side have recently just gained seven points from the last nine. Haydn Hollis’ header was enough to secure a 1-0 victory at Sutton United in midweek.

Barnet are currently on a run of eight games without a win in all competitions. Their last victory came against Burton Albion in the first round of the FA Cup back in early November.

Team News

James Rowe revealed in his pre-match interview that there a few ‘bumps and bruises’ coming out of the Sutton United game.

David Buchanan will miss out due to a knee injury and Will Evans is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season on Tuesday.

From the dugout:

James Rowe: “We’ve got to remember where we are as a club. We’ve been near the bottom for a reason. It isn’t going to happen overnight; I’m not a magician and I don’t have a wand.

“What we have done though is started fantastically in my tenure as manager, but it’s three games. To win a league you have to do it over 44 games.”
