Managers: Marcus Bignot & Russ O’Neill
Guiseley’s current joint managers have a combined two decades of non-league experience with various clubs.

Bignot had a 24-year playing career as a right-back. His longest tenures were at Telford United, Crewe Alexandra and Queens Park Rangers.

The former right-back managed Birmingham City Ladies and Solihull Moors whilst still playing. He won various accolades at both teams including the National League North with the Moors.

The 46-year-old has since managed Grimsby Town and Chester before joining Guiseley as joint-manager in 2018.

O’Neill did not have a playing career and instead went straight into coaching, joining Buxton as assistant manager in 2005.

He left two years later to join ex-Spireite Nicky Law at Alfreton, again in the assistant manager role.
The 48-year-old enjoyed a decade with the Reds, winning the National League North and achieving Alfreton’s highest ever league position. O’Neill followed Law to Burnley before joining Guiseley in 2018.

Since Bignot and O’Neill arrived, the Lions reached the FA Cup second round and have just missed on both promotion and relegation in the National League North.

Kellett is one of two former Chesterfield players at Guiseley alongside forward Jonathan Wafula.
