Away Guide: Doncaster Rovers

Supporters’ Forum member Luke Searston provides the following guide…

Doncaster Rovers

What kit will we be in?

We will be in our usual blue home strip.

Ticket information

All tickets for our trip to Doncaster have SOLD-OUT. The lads will be backed by 3,000 Spireites. No tickets will be available on the day, so please DO NOT travel without a ticket.

True Blue Travel:

At the time of writing, a limited number of spaces remain on True Blue Travel: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/chesterfieldfc/EDP/Event/Index/93. Coaches depart the SMH Group Stadium at 12.30pm prompt.

Address for the ground

Eco-Power Stadium, Stadium Way, Doncaster, DN4 5JW

Car parking information:

There is a car park at the ground, but it appears to be sold-out. There is parking at a number of companies on the nearby industrial estate (DN4 5JB) on a first come, first served basis at £3/4 per car. This is only a five-minute walk away from the stadium. Please use the YourParkingSpace website/app for alternatives.

Which stand will we be in?

We will be housed in the Pass Logistics North Stand.

Pubs for away fans:

The away friendly pubs near the train station are: the Railway pub & The Leopard. Doncaster town centre is a good 30-minute walk away from the ground. There is a Beefeater outlet near the ground which allows away fans in. Also, Hyde Park Working Men’s club allows away fans and there is free parking available for people who use the facilities at the club, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the ground. The postcode for the working men’s club is DN4 5AD.

Public transport information

Doncaster Railway Station is just under two miles away from the Eco-Power Stadium, so you are probably best taking a taxi to the ground. If you do have time on your hands and you fancy the long walk (around 25-30 minutes), then as you come out of the station, turn right and then keep straight on this road (the A6182 Trafford Way) and you will eventually reach the Eco-Power Stadium complex on your left.

Concourse information

Once inside the ground, the usual offering of hot food such as burgers and hotdogs is available, along with hot & cold drinks. Alcohol is also available on the away end concourse.

Can I get a programme?

Sadly, like many other clubs, it would appear Doncaster no longer produce a matchday programme.
