James Berry has returned to the Spireites on a season-long loan from League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
He joined Wycombe from Chesterfield in January after an impressive start to the 2024/25 season.
The 24-year-old scored ten goals in all competitions for Paul Cook’s side, adding to the six he scored during the previous campaign.
Berry becomes the tenth player to make the move to the SMH Group Stadium this summer.
After re-signing, he said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be back. I’ve spoken to all of the lads and the manager this morning.
“I was here last year and I’m so happy to be back again – it’s a fantastic football club.
“The fans are brilliant, and the lads are brilliant. I really like it here; I fit in here.”
