Chesterfield FC Women are back in action this weekend, taking on Notts County development, whom they beat 4-1 earlier in the season.
Ahead of the game, manager Andrea Parkinson said: “It’s looking like we’ve got a full squad for the first time in a good couple of months.
“Their results have been really good. We’re only a couple of points behind them in the league with a couple of games in hand so hopefully this will spur us on for the big games that we’ve got coming up in the next few weeks.
“Training on Tuesday was really good. We worked on different things that we thought in the last game we could improve on a little bit.
“We’ve prepared well, we’ll do some online analysis from the last game in the lead up to it.”
The fixture is the first in a run of three home games, with a league match against Grimsby Town and a plate semi-final against Mansfield Town in the following weeks.
Andrea added: “It would be great to kick this run off with a win and obviously we’ve not played at home for a while. We’ve been on the road travelling quite a lot so to have three home games in a row and all those games being against semi-local teams will hopefully encourage fans to come and watch.”
This Sunday’s fixture is taking place at Shirebrook Academy with a 2pm kick-off.
