Lewis Gordon has agreed a contract extension with the club, signing a new deal until the summer of 2027.
The left-back joined the club last summer after leaving Bristol Rovers, where he had spent two years.
For the Spireites, he made 38 appearances in all competitions, provided four assists and helped keep 12 clean sheets.
His performances helped Paul Cook’s side reach the League Two play-offs in their first season back in the EFL.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Gordon said: “I’m very happy to sign a new deal. I enjoyed my first year here at Chesterfield and I am looking forward to the season ahead.
“Hopefully I can contribute to achieving our goal for the year. It’s a great group of lads and we are all ready for the season.”
