Will Dickson has signed for the Spireites on a permanent basis from Manchester City after the conclusion of his loan spell.
The forward has signed a contract that will keep him at the SMH Group Stadium until the summer of 2027.
Dickson made 18 appearances in all competitions during his loan spell – alternating as a striker and an attacking midfielder.
He scored a fantastic solo goal during Chesterfield’s 4-1 home win against Newport County in September, as he took the ball from his own half before slotting home with confidence.
First-team coach Gary Roberts expressed his delight at the deal, saying: “Will is 21 years of age and we feel he can develop into a player, who will be really strong for this club.
“He’s had a good base coming through Manchester City. We feel he’s got good scope in him to go even better.”
