There’s a real local feel for Chesterfield FC Women’s next fixture at the SMH Group Stadium as they welcome Sheffield FC in the FA Women’s National League Cup on Sunday, September 27 in a 2pm kick-off.
Two proud local clubs with a rich history will go head-to-head with progression to the next stage potentially on the line in the final game of the group.
There’s an extra layer to the occasion, too. Steph Warren, Imogen Fowler, Tilly Hallas-Potts and Lexie Butterworth all made the move from Sheffield FC to Chesterfield this summer, and will now face their former club for the first time since making the short hop over to Derbyshire.

Hospitality will be in the 1866 Lounge with the bar open from midday, with guests enjoying a a roast pork cob with stuffing, gravy, crackling and homemade chips served in a basket. A beer bucket of ten is also on offer for £35.
