On Andy Wpodman
Andy Woodman has made a name in the past few years as one of the best managers in the National League. The former goalkeeper, who made over 400 appearances in his career, started his managerial journey at Whitehawk. After joining in February 2017, Woodman left at the end of the season after safety in the National League South was secured. He didn’t manage for the next four years until he joined Bromley. The 52-year-old has enjoyed his time at Hayes Lane and has the Ravens in a fight for promotion to the Football League.
One to watch
Michael Cheek is once again in the midst of yet another productive season in the National League. The striker has hit double figures for every season in the last ten years and has continuously set the fifth tier alight. The striker has continued to keep his good form up and could be vital to Bromley’s promotion push.

In October 2018, after leaving Maidstone United, Joe Quigley joined fellow National League side Bromley. His stay at Hayes Lane was a short one as the striker left at the end of the season. He scored once in seven games for the Ravens and also had a couple of loan spells at Eastbourne Borough and Havant & Waterlooville.
Quigley made his first foray up to the north of England in January 2022 when he made the switch from Yeovil Town to Chesterfield. The forward has been a mainstay at the SMH Group Stadium since and has made almost 100 appearances for the Spireites.
View from the dugout
Danny Webb said: “We’ve been training on the surface this week so the lads had a chance to get used to it. However, in reality, we just have to get on with it and play the game.
“There are no excuses on our end, we have to be ready for them. We must turn up and play our game.”
