The Spireites are going for a third league win in a row as they head to the EV Charger Points Stadium to face Cheltenham Town.
Paul Cook’s side go into the game on the back of penalty shootout success against Port Vale in the newly named Jersey Mike’s Trophy, where the lads gained an extra point to stay top of the Northern Group D with automatic advancement in the next round.
Cheltenham also come into the match after a draw and penalty shootout in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy, edging Exeter City 4–3 on from the spot.

Cheltenham Town midfielder Charlie McCann is in good form. Having been at barrow last season and scoring in five goals in 36 games, he has kicked off his Cheltenham career with six goals in seven matches. He was recently named player of the match for his away performance at Crawley Town where he scored twice in a 3-1 away win.
Head-to-head
The two encounters last season between the Spireites and the Robins saw Paul Cook’s side pick up six points with a 1-0 win at home a 2-0 away win, Lewis Gordon’s intial goal was awarded to Lee Bonis before Dylan Duffy fired home a free-kick in the 69th minute. Having won or drawn seven of the last ten matchups with Cheltenham, it will be hoped the Spireites can extend their six-game unbeaten run.

The referee for this afternoon’s game is Dean Whitestone, assisted by Joseph Larkin and Ollie Williams, with Kieran Forrest as the fourth official.
