Spireites midfielder Tom Naylor spoke to 1866 Sport ahead of this evening’s home fixture with Bromley.
He began by speaking on the opportunity to bounce back to winning ways, saying: “It’s a great opportunity for us to try and bounce back in front of a big crowd.
“We’re all glad there’s a game straight away, we want to put in a better performance and get back to winning ways.
“I’m always disappointed when we don’t win and I was disappointed with our performance.
“As a team we know we weren’t at it though so we’ll try and put things right.
“I’m loving my time here; it’s been fantastic so far and I want nothing more than to get this club promoted.
“As a team we have to be able to put in a good performance when we feel our last one wasn’t maybe our best. It is a great chance to bounce back.”
Giving his thoughts on tonight’s opponents, Mayor said: “I’ve never faced Bromley before in my career.
“I’m looking forward to it, I hear they’re a good side who always cause you problems.
“We’re ready for the physical battle, as a team we have to be able to adapt our game and deal with all styles of play.
“It should be a good game and in front of a big crowd I hope we can do it right.
“It’ll be a tough game for sure like every game in this league is but we’re determined to get it right on the night.”
