Spireites captain Jamie Grimes has expressed his thanks to all the supporters who are making the trip to Barnet.
First of all, he began by reflecting on the 2-2 draw with Rochdale.
He said: “Obviously we’re always disappointed when we don’t win games. It’s been a bit of a dry patch for us but if we’re putting it into perspective then it’s the first one of the season.
“We know what we need to improve on and we’re constantly trying to do so.
“I’ll never settle, I always want to improve my own performances to help the team. We’re desperate to get back to winning ways.”
Previewing the Barnet fixture, he commented: “It’s an exciting fixture on paper. They’re a good side.
“They have threats all over the pitch and can cause any team problems. We’ll have to be on it, for sure.
“We’ll be switched on and ready for them; we’ll focus on our own game too as we know we can hurt them.
“It’s a big game but we’ll approach it like any other.”
Finally, he thanked the fans for making the trip.
He said: “The fans are fantastic. I feel like I keep saying it but it’s because it’s true.
“I can’t describe how much we appreciate them; they’re fantastic.
“They travel home and away to support us and they stick with us constantly.
“I’ll always be grateful for their support and the lads work hard to reward them every day.”
