The next Spireites Lunch Club takes place this coming Monday, June 1, with guest speaker retired Lioness Michelle Slater, who currently heads the Women and Girl’s football programme across the club and community trust.
Michelle enjoyed a long playing career, mainly with Doncaster Belles, winning three of the six FA Cup finals she played in as well as two league titles. She was capped twice for England and has the legacy Number 91 to reflect this.
She will talk about her career, the changes in Women’s football and plans for Chesterfield Women as we head into the 2026/27 season.
