Chesterfield Football Club are pleased to announce that Stoma friendly toilets have been installed at the SMH Group Stadium, with 50% of all accessible toilets now suitable for those with a colostomy bag.
The changes mean select facilities now include a mirror, shelf, bin and door hooks, giving supporters who live with a stoma comfort in knowing they are catered for at the club.
The club’s disability liaison officer Peter Whiteley commented: “It’s important that the stadium is welcoming for everyone. It’s another step in the club’s plans to make the stadium the most accessible sporting venue in the country.”
