Bailey Hobson has become the first new face at the club since the end of the season, signing a contract which will start on July 1 after agreeing a move from Alfreton Town.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joins the Spireites on a two-year contract.
Hobson said: “It’s a big club and I’m delighted to have signed.
“I’ve seen all the games this season and they’ve been flying. (Alfreton) have helped me so much on my way here. I can’t wait to get started.”
