The young Spireites are through to the final of the U23 National Football Youth Cup following a superb 2-1 win at Barnsley on Monday.
Moss put Chesterfield ahead in the 25th minute with a 25-yard shot into the top corner of the net.
Murphy extended the lead in the 33rd minute before Phillip pulled a goal back for the hosts five minutes into the second half.
The Spireites produced some good game management to see out the game and secure their place in the final.
Max Cook was named the PK Group Man of the Match for his energetic, hard working performance.
The Spireites will face Rushden & Diamonds at West Brom on Wednesday, May 17. Further details will be announced in due course.
