BC: “After being at Doncaster Rovers, I joined the club and managed to progress to the youth team.
“I’m now part of the U19 and U21 squads at the club and my aim is to become a professional footballer with Chesterfield.”
CP: “I started off my career as a central midfielder, playing for Ashover juniors. Then I moved back into a centre-back position where I have played for the majority of my grassroots football for clubs such as Ashover, Teversal and Brampton Rovers.
“I changed to a goalkeeper at around U12s when the team’s original goalkeeper decided he no longer wanted to play in goal, so I took on the role. I had trials at clubs such as Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Rotherham United.
“I played for Rotherham from U14 to U16, but I failed to get my scholarship. I then signed for the Spireites at the start of the season and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.”
DG: “My future targets are to sign a pro contract with Chesterfield or any professional club and progress through my career.
“Once I retire, I would like to still be involved with the sport on the management side.”
EA: “I believe that my physical attributes have got me so far and now I need to further improve them but also need to work on other aspects of my game. To become a professional footballer is my main objective.”
FF: “After being out for two years due to injury, I had a trial at Derby County before coming to Chesterfield and I am now playing with the youth team.
“My target for the future is to make my first team debut. I currently play for the U19s and U21s teams in the National League Alliance and U21s Development League.
I joined Chesterfield at U9 level and I have progressed to the youth team, developing into a composed and versatile player. I normally play at centre-back, but I am comfortable anywhere in defence. I have had many highlights at Chesterfield including winning numerous tournaments and being selected for the youth team whilst in the U16s.
“To help gain experience of men’s football, I’m playing for Chesterfield at U19 and U21 levels along with playing with Staveley MWFC in the Central Midlands League on Saturdays.
“My aim is to break into the first team and be a professional footballer and reach the highest standard possible. I am also a massive Chesterfield supporter so to play for my club would be a dream come true.”
HB: “My favourite game played in was away at Southampton in the FA Youth Cup for Rotherham United.
“I also enjoyed training and playing for the first team during pre-season and making my debut away to Belper Town FC.
“My target is to sign a professional contract with Chesterfield. I’m currently part of the U19 National League side and captain both the U19s and U21s at the club.”
