Commitment

Chesterfield Football Club commits to promoting the welfare of all our supporters and visitors. We do our best to ensure that all children and adults at risk can feel welcome, safe, and supported whenever they visit our stadium.

This commitment is shared across Chesterfield Football Club, Chesterfield FC Academy, and Chesterfield FC Community Trust.

Collectively we have an ongoing duty to ensure that football is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for the children, young people and adults who regularly play, watch, coach, referee and volunteer at any of our events and sporting fixtures.

Partnership

We work with a number of partners and contract providers to help us deliver all our products and services. Together with our own team of staff and volunteers, we expect everyone involved to share our commitment.

Quality

To help drive our objectives, the Club and Trust answer to a Safeguarding Board, who meet quarterly to plan, reflect, challenge and drive the strategy and implementation of our safeguarding policy.

We must all remember, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; everyone matters at this football club.
