The women’s team recorded a resounding 13-2 win at Harworth on Sunday afternoon, with Allen, Foster and Butterworth all scoring hat-tricks.
Manager Andrea Parkinson made three changes to the starting XI with O’Brien, Clark and Allen all included, the latter making her full debut. There was a place on the bench for U18s defender Gardner.
The Spireites dominated from the start and were 5-0 up after only 25 minutes, following goals from Allen (2), Butterworth and Watkinson.
They continued to dominate possession, forcing the opposition keeper to make some great saves.
The Spireites scored an additional five goals before the break, with Watkinson, Foster (2) and Allen (2) all finding the net, the latter completing her hat-trick.
That saw Chesterfield establish a 10-0 lead at the interval.
The second half saw the Spireites lose concentration for a period of time and concede two goals.
This motivated the Spireites to find the form the showed in the first half and they added another three goals. Foster scored two more to complete her hat-trick, while Butterworth added another two to notch her treble.
Gardner replaced O’Brien in the second half to make her senior debut.
