Former Chesterfield forward Bob Newton visited the SMH Group Stadium recently, introducing former Polish professional Kazimierz Charczuk to the home of the Spireites.
Charczuk, who hails from Lublin in western Poland, featured primarily for Chełmianka Chełm during his career. He linked up with Bob after his daughter discovered the 68-year-old’s footballing background during a conversation at work.
Bob gifted the visiting Pole with one of the limited edition Remembrance Day white shirts that were worn earlier in the campaign.
He then showed him some kits from the past that he wore during his spell at the club during a short tour of the stadium, showcasing the illustrious history of the Spireites to Kazimierz and his family.
