MANAGER
Scott Lindsey was reappointed Crawley Town manager in March after just six months away from the club. He initially left to take charge of MK Dons but left the club after a poor run of results. His previous spell at the Broadfield Stadium saw him take Crawley to League One after beating Crewe Alexandra in the 2023/24 League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium. Upon returning to West Sussex, Lindsey was unable to stop the Red Devils from immediately slipping back into the fourth tier, despite overseeing an upturn in results.

KEY PLAYER
Chesterfield fans are fully aware of the danger Kabongo Tshimanga poses in the forward line. A spell at Swindon Town last season got the striker back in the goals and he will be hoping for more of the same with Crawley Town this term.
Last season in numbers (for Swindon Town):
Appearances – 44
Goals – 13
Assists – 3
Yellow Cards – 4
Red Cards – 0
Minutes Played – 2,631
PLAYED FOR BOTH
Kabongo Tshimanga joined Chesterfield from Boreham Wood for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2021. It didn’t take long for the striker to start scoring at a rate of knots. A serious leg injury suffered in February would keep him out for the rest of the season. In January 2023, the striker left for Peterborough United after scoring 33 times in just over 50 games.
At Peterborough, Tshimanga struggled to get game time and score goals. In the 2024/25 season, he joined Swindon Town on loan and bagged 13 goals in his stint at the County Ground. He left Peterborough at the end of the campaign and joined new League Two side Crawley Town.
