Day centre attendees take part in litter pick at the stadium

A group from Derwent Hub day centre in Matlock recently called in at the SMH Group Stadium to do a litter pick.

Nat, who led the group with Adam, explained the reason behind their good deed. “These guys really enjoy it,” she said.

“They get a real sense of pride from tidying up and giving something back to their community. We’ve got a lot of Chesterfield fans, including our manager Craig and his son, Arthur.”

Members of the group who attended on the day were presented with CFC Disabled Supporters’ Group badges by Pete Whiteley, the club’s disability liaison officer.

Our grateful thanks to all involved for the valued help!
