The Spireites will learn their opponents for the Vertu Trophy Round of 32 on Thursday afternoon.
Despite a defeat to Liverpool U21 on penalties on Tuesday night, Chesterfield secured passage through to the knockout stages as runners-up in Group H.
The draw for the next round of the EFL Trophy will take place at 2:30pm on Thursday, live on Sky Sports News.
Paul Cook’s men will be drawn away to one of group winners, except from Crewe Alexandra who won Group H.
Sky Sports’ Will Perry will host the draw alongside former Ipswich Town captain, Luke Chambers and former Jamaican international, Jobi McAnuff.
Vertu Trophy Round of 32 ties are to take place week commencing December 1.
The Spireites will be drawn away against one of the following:
Salford City
Tranmere Rovers
Doncaster Rovers
Lincoln City
