Scott Boden

Time at Chesterfield: Boden has had two stints as a Spireite, first joining the club back in 2008. In six years, he scored 15 goals in 104 league appearances. He left in 2013 and spent several years in and around the National League, before re-joining the club in 2019 after he was signed by John Sheridan. Boden played a vital role in keeping the club in the National League when he returned to the club, scoring some vital goals that earned the Spireites enough points to stay in the division. He joined Torquay United on loan in February.
Memorable moment: In February 2019, Boden made his second debut for the club, where he converted a late penalty at home to Halifax Town to clinch all three points for the Spireites.

David Buchanan

Position: Left-back

Time at Chesterfield: Buchanan joined the Spireites in the summer of 2019 after leaving Northampton Town. The full-back amassed almost 40 of his over 600 career appearances during his time at the Technique Stadium.
Memorable moment: The 35-year-old celebrated a milestone appearance in the 0-0 home draw against Aldershot Town back in December. Buchanan played 90 minutes as he celebrated his 600th career appearance.
