The University of Derby are holding an open day on Wednesday, June 17, from 4-7 pm at their Chesterfield site, St Helena, with academy manager, Neil Cluxton, and a selection of Academy players will be in attendance.
The new programmes, which are available to study from September 2026, include undergraduate courses in Business Management and Marketing, Sport Therapy and Rehabilitation, Sports Nutrition and Health.
The University has also launched a Foundation Pathways Programme in Chesterfield, aimed at those who have been out of education for a while to progress onto a degree.
Students and graduates will also benefit from direct routes to opportunities at Chesterfield FC through the strategic partnership, further strengthening the link between education and the professional sports industry.
Allison Ollerenshaw, Commercial Sales Executive, said: “This collaboration will provide meaningful pathways for students to engage with a professional football club. Spaces on the courses are very limited, and the open day can provide valuable insight into what will be on offer from September.”
