Spireites come from two behind to draw 2-2 against Bohemians XI

Chesterfield came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against a Bohemians XI at Dalymount Park in Dublin.

After going two behind within 16 minutes, goals from Dilan Markanday and Lee Bonis either side of the break ensured the spoils were shared.

The hosts took the lead early on, with Zane Myers wriggling his way into space inside the box and firing past Ryan Boot.

They added a second 16 minutes later through a corner kick, with Cian Byrne directing a header into the far right side of the goal.

Chesterfield grew into the half and were threatening most through Markanday. The winger’s efforts paid off three minutes before the break when he dribbled through and saw his initial shot deflected and saved before looping a header over Kacper Chorazka to make it 2-1

The equaliser came in the 62nd minute when a hopeful dink into the box from George McEachran made its way through to Bonis who made no mistake from a few yards out.
