The Spireites return to the SMH Group Stadium this evening to take on Gillingham, in the first of back-to-back home fixtures.
Paul Cook’s side will be looking to bounce back from the weekend’s 2-1 loss at Rotherham United, in which the Spireites were left going home with nothing after Paul Mullin’s late winner.
Gillingham are still searching for their first win of the season, losing twice and drawing twice in all competitions so far.

James Brophy is a versatile attacker who joined Gillingham this summer from League two promotion winners Cambridge United.
Despite a slow start in his new colours, Brophy will be looking to regain his form from last season, where he made 53 appearances in all competitions, scoring five and assisting nine goals.
Gillingham lost their opening game of the League Two season 3-0 to Walsall, however, Brophy created the most chances in that fixture.
Head-to-head
The Spireites took all three points in the two sides’ last meeting, as Sam Curtis’ first-half strike was enough to secure the win back in February.
Since Chesterfield’s return to the EFL, Paul Cook’s side have won once and drawn once in four games against the Gills.
Man in the middle
Ross Martin will be in charge of this afternoon’s fixture, assisted by Michael Robinson, Stephen Wade and fourth official, Andrew Ellis.
Martin was most previous fixture involving Chesterfield was last season’s 1-1 draw with April. Kyle McFadzean was sent off in this game, which was later overturned.
