Bookings are still being taken for Sunday’s A-Rock Fun Run for Ernie, taking place at the Technique Stadium.
Organised under ARC rules, the event is being organised to help raise funds for a permanent Ernie Moss memorial to be added to the memorial garden at the stadium to commemorate the club legend and all-time leading goalscorer.
Entry fees are £10 for adults (16 years+) and £5 for children under 16 years. Choose to walk or run 5k or 1500m. Children from seven years of age can complete the 5k with an adult – all other children must enter the 1500m.
Start times are 11.30am for the 1500mts and 12 noon for the 5k. Unit 1 Fitness & Martial Arts will be hosting a warm-up session at approximately 11.15am. Commemorative medals will be handed to all finishers in the 5k or 1500m.
The race start and finish will be at the Technique Stadium, where there will be parking, toilets and changing facilities. Race numbers will be available to collect on the day from 10.30am at the stadium.
