Following the introduction of live streaming of matches this season, there has been a rise in the number of scammers posting on our matchday Facebook posts.
The messages include links which appear to take the user to the live stream. Examples of the types of messages posted are shown in the image above.
Please note that under no circumstances should you click on any such links as they are from people who are trying to obtain your debit/credit card details.
Links to live streams will be shown on our website and directly from our social media accounts.
If you have clicked on a link from any source other than Chesterfield FC or an opposition club and provide your card details, you are advised to contact your bank.
We will endeavour to block scammers when any such messages have been posted.
