The Community Awards event, held at the Technique Stadium on Saturday night, was a great success.
Sponsored by John Pye Auctions, the event saw various individuals recognised for outstanding acts of kindness and bravery.
Marketing manager Bridget Ball said: “It was fantastic to be able to honour people whose efforts may otherwise have gone un-noticed.
“I would like to congratulate all the award winners and thank everyone involved in organising and delivering the event for making it such a memorable occasion.
“We are already planning for next year’s awards event. Look out for us at this year’s Sparkle Walk and Chesterfield fireworks display, where James Summers from 1866 Sport will be your
host.”
