Rawson made his senior debut for the Spireites in the 2017/18 season, coming off the bench to replace Drew Talbot. Rawson signed his first professional contract in 2019 at the age of just 17. He had numerous different loan stints across the non-league pyramid before being regularly used in the first team by manager John Pemberton at the start of the 2020/21 season, scoring two goals. He was loaned out to Alfreton Town and Bradford Park Avenue under new manager James Rowe before their seasons were curtailed. 

Memorable moment: Rawson scored his first professional goals in a 4-0 win at home to Woking in October 2020. 

Jamie Sharman

Age: 20

Position: Central Defender

Sharman made the progression from the club’s academy to the first-team squad, signing his first professional contract in the 2018/19 season. He won the Academy Player of the Year award at the end of the 2018/19 season, helping with his progression to first-team football. He also spent time on loan at Kidderminster Harriers in the National League North, where he gained valuable first-team experience. At the start of the 2020/21 season, he made six first team appearances under then-manager John Pemberton.

Memorable moment: Sharman made his first-team debut for the Spireites in the 4-0 home win against Woking.
