The club is saddened to learn of the passing of Malc Gee, a Spireite for more than 70 years.
Malc, who was 81 and passed away at home on January 13 after a short illness, was born just after the start of the Second World War in 1939 and he became a regular supporter not long after its cessation.
He once said that supporting the Spireites was “a bit like the stock market, things can go down as well as up!” How right he was!
Our sincere condolences are extended to Malc’s wife Mavis, together with other members of his family and friends at this diffcult time.
