Liam Mandeville has pledged his future to the Spireites by signing a new contract.
The 24-year-old, who joined Chesterfield in the summer of 2019 after leaving Doncaster Rovers, has agreed a 12-month deal with the club also having an option for another year beyond that.
After putting pen to paper, Mandeville said: “I was desperate to stay as there is something good going on at the club. The change at the club since the manager came in has been unbelievable.
“I feel we’ve got a winning mentality back and I can’t see why we won’t be challenging for automatic promotion next season.”
