Neill Hornby has been named as the club’s new head of recruitment – as revealed exclusively on the latest We Are Sailing podcast.
Hornby was previously employed in a similar role at Burton Albion.
Commenting on the club’s recruitment policy on the podcast, chief executive John Croot said: “We particularly want some young, hungry lads that are going to come in and really want to be part of what we’re doing.
“We want to make sure that we’re in a position to bring the best possible players to the club.
“Paul (Cook) certainly knows the type of player he wants and Paul’s here to see that project through.”
