Tributes to Bradley Tyas

Tributes have been paid to lifelong Spireite Bradley Tyas, who sadly passed away this week at the age of 23 after being involved in a collision on the A60.

A statement issued by his family says that Bradley “leaves behind his beloved fiancee, son, his mum and stepdad, his dad and two devoted sisters”.

The statement adds: “This is a truly huge loss to us all, taken from us so young with his whole life and future in front of him and having only just become a dad to a beautiful son of only seven weeks old.”

A photo of Bradley was shown on the live stream after 23 minutes in yesterday’s game against Wrexham and a message was read out in the commentary.

In his post-match interview, manager James Rowe dedicated the win to Bradley, saying: “That’s for him, that one.”

Academy manager Neil Cluxton, who taught Bradley for two years at Chesterfield College, is due to meet up with his some of his old classmates today and lay some flowers on behalf of the club.
