Fact file
Name: Dagenham & Redbridge
Nicknames: Daggers
Founded: 1992
Stadium: Victoria Road
Capacity: 6,078
Manager: Daryl McMahon
On Dagenham
The club was founded back in 1992 and have spent their time floating in and around the Football League and the National League.
They were promoted to League Two back in 2010 and spent six years floating between the fourth and third division. They were ultimately relegated back to the National League in 2016 and have been fighting to regain their Football League status ever since.
Dagenham have had unsuccessful play-off campaigns since dropping down to the National League. This season they sit in 14th place and will be hoping to push up the table into a play-off spot sooner rather than later.
One to watch
Omar Mussa is a Belgium-born midfielder with an eye for goal. He has had a number of different clubs such as Weymouth, Walsall and Dover Athletic. He signed for the Daggers in the summer and has scored one goal in five appearances.
