On Notts County
Notts County are undoubtably one of the biggest clubs in the non-league pyramid. The club are also one of the oldest clubs in world football, being founded in 1862. The Italian football club Juventus F.C. derived its famous black-and-white striped kits from Notts County.
The club have spent many years in the English Football League, winning many titles, including the FA Cup in 1894. Notts have endured years of success until recent years. On 4 May 2019 following a 3–1 defeat away at Swindon Town, Notts County were relegated from the English Football League for the first time in their 157-year history.
