A reminder that there will be a celebration of the National League title win this afternoon when the players and management travel from the SMH Group Stadium to the Town Hall on open-top buses.
The buses will set off at 2.30pm, travel along Sheffield Road, around Holywell Cross (the Donut), and then on to Saltergate and Rose Hill East, arriving at the Town Hall at 3pm.
Supporters are invited to join in the celebrations outside the Town Hall in a dedicated traffic-free fan zone from 1.30pm. There will be live music from around 2pm.
The team will appear on the balcony at approximately 3.30pm, lifting the National League Trophy once again.
After their balcony appearance, club officials will attend a civic reception at the Town Hall.
There are plans for live coverage of the open-top bus journey and the balcony presentations on our Facebook page. Our in-house radio station, 1866 Sport, will also be on air from 3pm at the Town Hall.
