An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Paul Cook for two breaches of FA Rule E3.1 that occurred at their EFL League Two match against Milton Keynes Dons on Sunday, January 4.
It was alleged that the manager acted in an improper manner around the 94th minute, which led to his dismissal, and that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the match officials around the tunnel and towards a match official around the changing rooms after the game.
Paul Cook denied the first charge against him but accepted the second and third. The Regulatory Commission found the first charge to be not proven and imposed a two-match touchline suspension and £2,500 fine following a hearing.
