Directions

From the A6, take the new (ish) Manchester Airport Eastern Link A555 Road before you get to Hazel Grove. Follow this until it merges with the M56 at Junction 5, continue along the M56 for a junction coming off at junction 6. Take the A538 exit towards Wilmslow/Hale. Stay on the A538 for around 2 miles before taking a right onto Westminster Road, this turns into Bancroft Road before running onto Moss lane and the approach to the ground.

Altrincham FC’s ground is situated on the corner of Moss Lane and Golf Road, about a ten minute walk from Altrincham town centre. As the town-centre end of Moss Lane is one-way, leading away from the ground.

Coach Parking

There is no coach park or anything similar. They should stop on Moss Lane and drop off / pick up there, close to the away turnstiles. Coaches are encouraged to park up on Scott Drive, just off Welman Way. 

Car Parking:

There is plenty of on-street parking available which is permitted except where indicated by yellow lines or traffic cones. There is also free parking offered at Aecom WA15 8FH free of charge but has been hit and miss if it has been opened since covid.

Rail Travel

If you have arrived by tram you can use the station footbridge to arrive at the rear exit. From here go forward 100 yards or so and turn right onto Oakfield Road. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Moss Lane. Walk for about 8 minutes, passing a park on your right and crossing a mini-roundabout, till you reach the ground on your left.

Directly opposite the ground are shops which include a chip shop, bakers and two convenience stores/newsagents.

Away fans info

With segregation being in place there is only a couple of burger vans available inside the ground.

There is a community sports hall adjacent the ground which has a bar and serves food.  The town centre is a good 15-minute walk from the stadium.

  • The Station Hotel, Stamford Street – very close to the train station – will accept away fans.
  • The Unicorn Wetherspoons, Ashley Road – town centre – will accept away fans.
  • King George, Moss Lane – close to the ground – attracts a lot of home fans being so close to the ground but will also accept away fans.
