“It’s going to be a tough game“

Assistant manager Danny Webb spoke with the media ahead of Saturday’s home fixture with Eastleigh.

He began by analysing Eastleigh and described what they will bring, saying: “It’s going to be a tough game; it always is against Eastleigh.

“They’re a strong, physical side but most of all they can play some good football. It’s a tough test for us.

“We need the supporters behind us as usual to help us try to get three points.

“For sure, we’re going to have to stop their threats.

“It’s been a busy week for us but there’s no reason we can’t get another three points.

“We’ll be going into the game looking for the win.

“We focus on ourselves, as always.”

Webb also gave a snippet of tomorrow’s team news.

“We’re pretty much all good,” he said.

“Tyrone [Williams] is back running so he’s only a couple of weeks away now. Everyone else is good to go.

“We have a fantastic squad; that’s what the gaffer wanted to build.

“A good squad and that’s what we’ve done.

“We’re looking good going into the game and we’ve got quality all over the pitch and hopefully it stays that way.”

Finally, Webb reflected on Eastleigh striker Paul McCallum’s time at the Spireites and described his threats.

He said: “We all know what he brings. He’s a quality player and it’s no surprise he’s scoring again for another club, he’s a top player.

“He’s obviously the top scorer so we’re going to have to do our best to stop him but Eastleigh have threats all over the pitch, not just at the top end.

“Paul was great for us last season and he always scores wherever he goes.

“We’ll catch up after the game I’m sure but first and foremost we’ll be looking for three points.”
