The Spireites’ first fixture of the Easter weekend comes on Good Friday when they travel down to AFC Wimbledon.
After the 3-0 win over Fleetwood Town last Saturday, Chesterfield will be hoping to close the gap to seventh once more.
Johnnie Jackson’s side are just three points behind Walsall in the automatic promotion places.
Head-to-head
Since AFC Wimbledon was founded in 2002, they have faced Chesterfield a total of eight times in league and cup competitions.
The Spireites have the better record with four wins to Wimbledon’s two. This means that there have also been two draws.
Armando Dobra’s fourth-minute strike back in December was enough to give the Blues a 1-0 victory at the SMH Group Stadium
Manager – Johnnie Jackson
Johnnie Jackson was appointed manager of AFC Wimbledon back in May 2022 following the club’s relegation to League Two.

Jackson has since guided the Wombles to a 21st placed finish in his first season before a 10th placed finish last campaign.
With just four games of the season, Wimbledon are sitting in fifth place with a chance of securing promotion back to League One.

The forward has previous in League Two having helped Forest Green win the division back in 2022.
