On Russell Penn
Russell Penn spent his playing career in non-league and the lower levels of the Football League. He played for the likes of Kidderminster Harriers, Burton Albion, Cheltenham Town, York City and Wrexham. The midfielder played just over 200 games at Aggborough. Penn was appointed as interim manager of the club in 2019 and once again on a permanent basis in 2020. The 43-year-old has a win percentage of 43.92% since becoming manager and led Kidderminster to promotion back to the National League last season, via the play-offs.
One to watch
Amari Morgan-Smith is Kidderminster’s top goalscorer so far during this campaign. Harriers have been struggling for goals since their return to the National League and will be hoping that the striker once again reaches double figures. The former Alfreton Town striker knows exactly how to find the back of the net.
This season in numbers:

Played for both
Bailey Hobson currently plays for both Chesterfield and Kidderminster. Signed by the Spireites in May, the midfielder impressed in pre-season but was loaned out to Kiddy last month.
The 21-year-old has hit the ground running at Aggborough with two goals in seven games. His form has meant that Kiddy have extended the loan until January.
View from the dugout
Danny Webb said: “They’re a good side, they have so many threats. They’re strong from set-pieces and have some big, physical lads. It’s going to be a good game.
“We’ll be favourites again and we’ve got to turn up to town and come home with all three points.”
