The Spireites will face Sheffield United as part of their preparations for the new season.
The Blades will make the short trip to the SMH Group Stadium on Saturday, July 20 (3pm).
The match, which will see both sides put out strong sides in the build-up to the big kick-off, is being staged as part of Jim Brown’s testimonial year.
Jim, who retired as Chesterfield’s commercial manager last November, said: “It was an honour for me to represent both clubs and I would like to thank them both for agreeing to let this match feature in my testimonial year.”
