Chesterfield have completed the signing of Kairo Mitchell from National League rivals King’s Lynn Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old striker arrives at the Technique Stadium after scoring five goals in his last seven appearances.
Commenting on the move, he said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started and helping the team as much as I can.
“Chesterfield is a massive club with ambitions to get back in the Football League and I’m here to help them do that.”
Mitchell began his career at Leicester City and had stints at Nuneaton Borough, Coalville Town and Dartford before joining King’s Lynn last October.
He is a Grenada international who has scored two goals in 11 appearances for his country.
