Chesterfield have been placed into Group H of this season’s edition of the Vertu Trophy.
Paul Cook’s side progressed from the group stages last year and made it to the round of 16.
League One Burton Albion and League Two Crewe Alexandra make up two of the three teams that the Spireites will face.
The fourth and final team in Group H will be drawn live on Sky Sports at 2:30pm on Thursday.
