England men’s under-20s will take on Italy men’s under-20s in an international fixture next month in Chesterfield.
The Young Lions will play Gli Azzurrini at the SMH Group Stadium on Friday, September 5 (7.30pm).
The team will be led by head coach Ben Futcher, with the England men’s development team coaching setup confirmed earlier this week.
The Young Lions went unbeaten during the 2024/25 season, signing off with a 2-2 draw against Switzerland last time out in March at the Marbella Football Centre.
And they return to Chesterfield in 2025/26, having beaten Germany 4-0 at the SMH Group Stadium last November last year, with goals from Romain Esse, Max Dean, Sydie Peck and Will Lankshear.
