Friday night’s Fireworks Extravaganza in Stand Road Park proved to be a great success with tens of thousands of people in attendance!
The club and Community Trust once again played an important role in the proceedings with the entertainment provided by the club’s in-house radio station, 1866 Sport. Presenter James Summers hosted the event and introduced the guests.
Club mascot Chester made an appearance on stage alongside chief executive John Croot and assistant-manager Danny Webb.
Marketing manager Bridget Ball said: “We were delighted to work with Chesterfield Borough Council again to deliver the event, which provided great family entertainment.
“We had some excellent performances from The Rosadocs, Georgie Mills and the Princesses, who led a Frozen sing-a-long.
“The feedback we have received has been very positive and we are looking forward to next year’s event!”
